How Much Does Yard Waste Removal Cost in Moncton?

Yard waste removal in Moncton usually costs $150 to $350 for a pickup-sized load in 2026, plus 15% HST. A big storm cleanup or a neglected yard can fill a trailer and cost $400 to $700. Price depends on volume, access and how long it takes to load.

Most yards have a pile in the back corner that gets bigger every fall. We load it by hand, haul it and leave the space raked. We've hauled about 80 storm cleanups since 2022, and honestly most finish in 2 hours. Our trailer carries about 10 yards of brush.

When to Hire Help With Yard Waste

A weekend of raking isn't always enough. Call us when you see:

  • Large branches down after a storm
  • Brush piles you can't burn or fit in a compost bin
  • A neglected yard with years of leaves and weeds
  • A tree or hedge you've cut down and can't move

We usually finish a pickup-sized load in under two hours.

What We Haul From Moncton Yards

Branches and Brush

We cut or pull branches and load them whole. The City's bulk pickup takes branches only if they're bundled, four feet long or less and under 50 pounds each. Anything bigger is a trailer job for us.

Leaves and Grass

Eco360 takes residential yard waste for free when the bags are removed, and it charges commercial customers $20 per tonne. Leaf piles are heavy when wet, so we'd rather collect them dry in fall.

Storm Cleanup

Nor'easters and post-tropical storms most often hit between November and mid-January, according to the city's climate record. After one, we clear fallen limbs, fence panels and shingles from the yard once it's safe to go in.

Logs and stumps are heavier and take more time, so we quote them separately. We don't dig out stumps or grind them.

Good to Know

Yard Waste Questions

Can I Burn My Brush?

Check local burn rules before you light anything, since they change by season and municipality, and fire bans are common in dry spells. Hauling it away is the safer option, and we take it all in one trip.

Do You Take Garden Soil?

Small amounts, yes. Soil is heavy, so a trailer load is priced by weight rather than volume. Clean soil is accepted free at Eco360, and we'll tell you if your load would be cheaper to haul yourself.

You've Got Questions

Yard Waste Removal FAQs

Does the City pick up branches and yard waste?

Yes, in small amounts. The City's bulk pickup takes bags of yard debris and branches bundled four feet long, under 50 pounds each, within its five-item limit. Larger piles, whole logs and storm debris need a haul-away like ours.

Can I drop yard waste at the landfill myself?

Yes. Eco360 in Berry Mills takes residential yard waste free when bags are removed and it's sorted. You'll need a truck or trailer and a tarp, because an unsecured load costs $20 extra. We handle that if you'd rather not.

Do you take stumps and logs?

We take logs and stumps that are already out of the ground. We don't dig out stumps or grind them. Large logs are heavy, so we quote by weight, and a photo of the pile helps us tell you the price.

How soon after a storm can you come?

As soon as it's safe, which usually means a day or two after the weather settles. Storm debris is our busiest call after big weather, so ask about the next opening and we'll tell you honestly when we can get there.

Do you do regular lawn mowing or leaf pickup?

No. We handle one-time hauls and cleanouts. We don't offer recurring mowing or seasonal lawn care. If you need a big fall cleanup, we can clear the leaves once, and you can talk to a lawn service about regular visits.
